Greetings from Columbus, Indiana!
Just about everyone I know is either a member or at least aware of Myspace and Facebook, the social network sites that have become the rage over the past few years. Myspace started out as a site for Indy bands to get the word out about gigs, and Facebook as a way for college students to keep in touch with old high school friends as well as social networking with new ones. A great idea that has made these sites worth nearly a Billion, that's right, billion dollars.
Now wine lovers have their own social network sites. One that I just discovered is Open Bottles. Started by a 28 year old attorney and entrepreneur from San Jose, California. It currently has over 26,000 wine and 3.100 wineries. Registration is free.
Here is an opportunity to share your reviews and winery visit experiences with a group of wine lovers. I'm looking forward to sharing some reviews and getting involved. See you on Open Bottles.
